چکیده

Abstract This paper builds on the machine learning research to propose two new algorithms based optimizing Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) with a dual-polarization antenna predict pseudorange errors by considering multiple variables including right-hand circular polarized (RHCP) signal strength, strength difference between left-hand (LHCP) and RHCP outputs, satellites’ elevation angle, residuals. The final position is calculated following application of predicted correct for effects non-line-of-sight (NLOS) multipath reception. results show that proposed algorithm in 30% improvement root mean square error (RMSE) 2D (horizontal) component static applications when training testing data are collected at same location. corresponds 13% 20% from locations away dataset.

Using two GPS satellites to improve WiFi positioning accuracy in urban canyons

It is well known that a GPS receiver needs to “see” at least four satellites to provide a 3D fix solution. But in difficult environments such as an urban canyon, the number of “visible” satellites is often not enough. WiFi signals have been utilized for positioning mainly based on the fingerprinting technology. However, the accuracy of WiFi positioning outdoors is from several tens of meters to...

modeling job performance using optimized adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system

using current employee performance data to predict the future behavior of the applicants is an interesting area which can broaden new horizons of knowledge lay in the organization. because of inherent ambiguity and uncertainty, cognitive limitations of the human mind make unknown behaviors of very complex systems difficult to predict. as a consequence, it is necessary to model the imprecise mod...

High Accuracy GPS Performance using a Digital Adaptive Antenna Array

NAVSYS' High-gain Advanced GPS Receiver (HAGR) has been designed to take advantage of digital adaptive antenna array spatial-processing to enhance the accuracy of the GPS observations. The HAGR has the capability to create an optimized digital antenna pattern for up to eight GPS satellites simultaneously. This is used to perform dynamic beam-forming to the GPS satellites, in both static and mob...

High-Precision Single-Frequency GPS Point Positioning

The objective of the research described in this paper is to develop a Kalman filter-based functional model for single-frequency positioning which is suitable for low dynamic platforms such as cars or boats. No external sensors are used and the precise velocity information comes from the time-differenced carrier-phase measurements. The Kalman filter combines these measurements with undifferenced...

Single Point Positioning Using GPS, GLONASS and BeiDou Satellites

This paper introduces the Chinese BeiDou satellite system and its comparison with the actual completed American GPS and the Russian GLONASS systems. The actual BeiDou system consists of 14 satellites covering totally the Asia-Pacific area. A Single Point Positioning (SPP) test has been realised in Changsha, Hunan province, China, to show the advantage of using combined pseudorange solutions fro...
